Most of us at one time or another have felt inadequate "lacking the quality or quantity required: insufficient for a purpose. "But we all have a divine purpose. God told Jeremiah, "before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you: I have appointed a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5
God has a divine purpose for everyone. One of my favorite scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope."
We often make excuses for not fulfilling God's purpose but God can use anybody that is humble, moldable and surrendered.
I am reminded of a story of a beautiful young lady that was born with a crippling bone disease. She had limited mobility and was confined to a wheelchair. She felt like she had no purpose. As her condition worsened she prayed and pleaded with God to let her die.
She stated that God spoke to her spirit and reminded her, if you have a pulse, you have a purpose. From that moment on, her life changed and she began fulfilling God's purpose by sharing the gospel with everyone she came in contact with.
So when you're feeling that you are inadequate and have no purpose, CHECK YOUR PULSE!!!
God has a divine plan for your life
